As of August 2024, we are moving our Second Sundays event to Saturdays. This community potluck BBQ will now be called Second Saturdays, and occur in May, June, July, August, September, and October from 7-11.

Enjoy the main deck of PortSide's historic ship, the tanker MARY A. WHALEN.  Bring something for the grill, a side, dinner, drinks… Meet new people, chat with old friends, lounge in a hammock, bring a musical instrument and jam, appreciate our historic ship and the maritime ambiance of our location. Get a sense of the vibe here.

Attendance limited to 49 people at a time, higher numbers if our landlord the NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC) approves a permit for a larger event (event approval times can be so slow as to prevent this).
